Answer: You can use Evergreen’s unique Ice Breaker/Introduction cards - simply forward card(s) to relevant member(s).

Answer: Yes, they are optional, you don’t have to use them if you don’t wish to. We charge £4.00p for ten, including mailing envelopes. They are obtainable by post or from our online shop.

Question: Do many members live in my area?
Answer: As a very rough rule of thumb, so to speak, any honest nation-wide organisation will tell you that membership numbers usually correspond to size of population. Higher populated areas will obviously attract more people than sparsely populated areas.

A nation-wide organisation will generally put their resources into nation-wide advertising, whereas a local club will put their resources into local advertising. For a nation-wide agency to advertise in almost every local area would cost an enormous amount, probably resulting in a membership fee of several thousand pounds to cover advertising costs alone! Evergreen endeavours to overcome this problem in two ways. Firstly by generally targeting specialist magazines with large circulations along with some high profile respectable local and national newspapers in order to maintain a good return. Secondly, although no one is under any obligation to do this, many Evergreen Classic members kindly place our posters on their local library/work notice-boards etc., and/or recommend friends. This not only boosts local membership but helps us to maintain a very low membership fee and contributes to our success! Members who do this have their membership extended FREE OF CHARGE when a person joins due to their efforts (Evergreen Classic Only).
