There is no shortage of social clubs, expensive dating agencies, and lurid telephone services; fine for people who like them, but if you don’t, what do you do? Hence the creation of Evergreen – unique, respectable and very successful.
The majority of people who join are looking for a soul-mate, there are others that seek friends with similar interests and there are those who wish to contact pen-friends, some join for all three reasons.

When you join, a membership pack containing all members’ profiles up to the previous update is sent to you. Your profile details are then added to the next issue. We don’t choose people for you, we let members decide who to contact for themselves. Evergreen Members can contact you direct if you decide to have your telephone number and/or email added to our Members’ Directory. still contact you via our free mailbox service where Members only have to pay for the postage. They can send you a letter or alternatively forward an Ice Breaker Card. We realise not everyone likes writing letters or can find the time. Ice Breaker Cards are quick, cheap and simple to use. You also don’t have to write a reply to them, simply tear off the answer side of the card and return it to the sender. Ice Breaker Cards are optional, and can be purchased from Evergreen when you join.
At two monthly intervals every Evergreen member receives our Free regular Personal Profile updates of new members. This continues throughout your term of membership. During your membership period, your Personal Profile will be continuously circulated to all new Evergreen Members.
Some people find Meeting Cards useful on a blind date. They are optional and can be purchased from Evergreen when you join.
We appreciate some people may not wish to let others know they have joined an agency, for this reason all Evergreen mail is forwarded in plain envelopes.

Evergreen does not keep to rigid working hours, if you need help in completing your Personal Profile, wish to join by phone or have any questions, you may find we answer your call up to 9:00pm. We have an answer machine but do our best to use it as little as possible.
